接受倍克脂消脂針的治療後，即使皮下脂肪厚度明顯下降
大部分的患者，皮膚的緊實度反而是上升或是不變
並未觀察到皮膚緊實度下降的情況
病理組織學也顯示
大部分的患者接受倍克脂消脂針注射後
真皮層的膠原蛋白數量反而增加
解釋臨床上看到皮膚緊實度反而上升的現象
而研究也顯示，治療後一般不需要再進行其他皮膚緊實的治療
